Hot Wheels!

When we were in college we had motorcycles. We owned a Yamaha Maxim 550 and a Honda 250. Both of the bikes were 20 plus years but seemed to work pretty good. Margot took the motorcycle class and I decided I could figure out how to ride one by myself with a class!

I was hell on wheels. In the 10 minutes that I spent learning how to ride the motorcycle in the parking lot of our apartment class — I didn’t learn how to turn or handle a bike! When we used to go riding Margot was constantly helping me pick my bike off of the ground and me with it! I didn’t get into any major accidents. Most of the time I would drop the bike at a stopsign. It was quite the sight!

We came to realize that bikers are some of the nicest people out there and although we weren’t involved in the community we had other friends that were bikers too.

Check out the 1st sport bike social networking site! There are bound to be some great people, cool bikes, and people who really want to get together and have a good time! Not to mention, it’d be nice to have a riding buddy.

God knows, I might have needed a few riding buddies in my time so that Margot could have a break!
