So the hottest new thing these days, as I was told by my seventh graders the other day, is to customize your cell phone! All of the middle schoolers that I teach for have cell phones and they even bring them to school!
Not only do they doll their phones up with cases, carriers, and ring tones but the hottest thing is U-DOO by Wirefly!
U-DOO gives you tons of customization features and allows you to do almost anything with your cell phone! One feature that I think is really cool is Avatars. You can customize a "person" to be the person that's calling you. Whether it be your friend, mother, boyfriend/girlfriend.
When that person calls their cartoon figure appears on your phone! You can also send the avatar to another cell phone as part of a message!
You can even email the avatars to people and have them talk as part of the greetings! You can have them say funny and cheesy sayings too!
What better way to get an email or cell phone greeting than by seeing a cartoon of a person with a funny phrase!
When I was in school the cool thing was pagers! I can't imagine growing up in a day in age that has cell phones and Avatars!
