When I was a kid I used to try and collect coins. I didn't do a great job and I attribute it being that I was so young and didn't have a clue to what I was doing.
However, I was able to find a 1901 Indian penny that I believe might have been pretty collectible. I gave it to my parents to keep and God only knows what has happened to it over the years.
Margot, on the other hand, did a much better job at collecting many a rare coin! She actually has binders and information that notes what the coin is and the history behind it. Her father helped her set it up and she used to get the coins mailed to her on a monthly basis.
ZoomCoin.com is a great website for collectors and others who are interested in starting or maintaining a coin collection. In fact, this might be the perfect hobby for our two little girls!
