Your addiction affects everyone.

When I was the Director in a health care setting I had an aid that had an addiction to alcohol and drugs. He was one of the best caregivers that I have ever seen. But the one thing that really hindered his life was his addictions.

A few years into his job, he got married, had children and it seemed like as his job and life in general got more stressful - the more he would turn to alcohol.

Maybe days he would come to work so hung over that you could smell the alcohol coming out of his pores.

Dealing with alcoholism as a corporate entity because you can't accuse and sometimes it's even tricky to approach someone if you think they might have a problem.

After seeing this behavior one day he came to work and made a series of errors which ended up costing him his job.

Of course, this was the least of his worries because he could have lost a lot more. I wish he would have turned to a drug rehab such as Stone Hawk.

Stone Hawk uses the Narconon program and the people that work and run the program have had issues with addiction as well. They use the Narconon program because it's been positive and has worked for them.

You can download an information packet online using their website. You can even make contact on their home page by filling out the form or you can call their 1-800 number 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

They realize that addiction is not just a nine to five issue.
