Sales.

Many years ago I was an Account Executive at the local newspaper. I had a great time and the first year I did pretty good financially.

THe way that the sales system was set up is that the first year you work and you basically set a goal for yourself for the next year. What that meant for me is that I constantly had to try and do better each year. When you're talking about 20% or 30% increase over the previous year it becomes somewhat unobtainable.

The reality is...I liked doing sells. I sold advertising to the local vendors. I was able to meet some nice people, help market local business, and was out of the office most of the day visiting clients.
