I love to make money!

You know me, I'm always looking for ways to make money. Whether it's blogging, or subbing, or selling my hot body on the streets. Just joking on the last part.

One of the greatest ways to make money is in retail! CTS Wholesalers is looking for people who want to make money selling sunglasses! You can sell them at carnivals, festivals, online, flea markets, or at the mall.

They currently offer a new line of sunglasses and they start at $10/dozen. With prices like that you are bound to make some serious cash!

I must admit - I love the idea of wearing sunglasses and if I actually wore them I’d want to purchase them from Wholesale Sunglasses! They offer a great selection and better yet - great prices!

They also offer clip-ons for people who wear glasses and like the “clip-on” feel! (Margot)

Their wide variety of Wholesale Designer Sunglasses is amazing and they have great brands that look exactly like the designers like: Gucci, Fendi, Calvin Klein, New Buckle Design, Christian Dior, Armani, Bolle, Coach, Diesel, DKNY, and Versace.

They also offer Wholesale Sports Sunglasses. They offer sunglass look-alikes from brands like: Adidas, Nike, Anarchy and Revo.

At the price they are selling their glasses - I can actually afford to get a couple of pairs and stashing them everywhere. Not to mention, it’s an easy sell. People everywhere wear sunglasses to protect their eyes and with these great shades they sell themselves!

Makin' the move?

Boston has been a real estate hot spot for years. They have great food, tons to do, an all around "Great American town!"

When looking to move to Boston it's important to go with the professionals that have sold tons of houses and are the professionals in the area. South Boston Real Estate is extremely competitive and Seaport Real Estate is the perfect organization to help you find the best house for you and your family!

Check out the Seaport Real Estate website. They have information on buying and selling a home. You can also view Open Houses and MLS Listings in the Boston area.

Ready for vacation!

Our vacation to Cancun, Mexico is just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited! Of course, we're going to try one more time to get pregnant before we go. But it's almost perfect timing because I figure that will keep us pretty busy over the next month or so and the time will fly and before I know it it'll be time to board the plane.

Pregnant or not!

Today's job.

Today I'll be subbing technology at the local high school. I don't mind subbing and most of the time it's the easiest money out there.

Of course, I'm hoping and praying that I don't have to teach auto mechanics again! God knows, I can't even change my own oil so I'd more than likely not be able to teach these guys anything new in that area!!

My good ole' Jeep!

When I was in my early 20's I bought a Jeep Wrangler. It was a really fun car but was breaking every 5,000 miles. I had to replace the tire rods, the stick shift, and the wheel bearings.

Thank God it was still during it's 35,000 warranty period!

We were fortunate to never have to replace the jeep radiator. Because that might have been the straw that broke the camel's back!

Radiator.com offers over 150,000 parts at really great prices! They also deliver worldwide and are the industry leader for automobile radiators.

Here's hoping that my current Honda CRV doesn't need a radiator in the near future. We're up to 125,000 miles and tickin'!

Not just in Ithaca!

But all over the world - people are starting to save energy and move to solar power!

We live in very liberal area and everyone here is really eco-friendly. When I lived in Texas I had never heard of recycling! Here we recycle just about everything from cans to paper products!

One idea that has been growing among home owners is using solar energy. Just from viewing the houses in our area that have solar panels I'd have to say that about 10% of the houses have panels on top of their roofs, in the back yard, or close by.

Considering the every rising cost of fuel and electricity - it just makes sense. Not to mention, you're using a renewable resource instead of robbing the earth and preventing polution in the process.

If we had the money to invest in updating our house and saving energy we'd do it in a heart beat. OceanFan.com offers some great solutions for people who are looking to make an environmental change and to move to solar panels and ceiling fans.

OceanFan.com has a great website and you can read about the features and benefits of solar energy and power. You can also view their products and shop online or contact customer service using their online form.

Solar energy is the new and modern way that people are starting to run their households. Our precious earth's resources are dwindling and it's everyone's responsibility to ensure that it's around for our children and grandchildren.

Insurance

So I have a couple of options at this point. I'm so pissed at BCBS of Mass I could spit and I don't want to continue to spend $375/month for crappy insurance that isn't even going to pay my bills!

We're trying to get me on Margot's insurance but you have to be "married" so we've actually been talking about making a trip out to Canada to get hitched.

Gotta love these shot gun weddings?

Blogging money and taxes.

I've really got to look into how to take taxes out of the money that I'm making on my blogs. Last year I was penalized because I didn't pay the taxes as I went and one of my jobs didn't take any NYS taxes out. So, not only do I owe like $800 on taxes but also a penalty!

Maybe what I should do is each week just set aside $100 or so for taxes and then the money that I don't use for taxes can go into the vacation fund?

Pretty quiet.

The past few days have been pretty quiet on the business front. Of course, I've also been pretty sick so I haven't been doing much of anything except trying to get better.

I had to call in this morning for subbing because I really didn't want to get the kids sick.

Go to the top...

of the search engine list! Have you ever tried to look up something and just can't seem to locate it. That's because it's not at the top of a search engine list! Search Engine Ranking is the way that websites appear on search engines.

Many times the lists come back in order or page rank or alphabetically. CustomMagnetism specializes in making sure that your website is going to get as much publicity as possible through their team of marketing professionals.

They look at the service and product that you offer and work on promoting it in front of a viewing audience.

Go to the professionals when promoting your online website. If you're going to invest in a website -- make sure that you have exposure!

Point of sale systems.

Years ago I was the accountant for CBORD. They offer point of sales systems and software for business, hospitals, and other settings. It was amazing how expensive systems and hardware was and equally shocking at how much these organizations would pay for their monthly software fees.

Many retail pos systems run in the thousands and that's just the beginning! I really like the thought behind VisonPOS systems. They reuse systems and refurbish. Not only is this a great idea because good machines don't go to waste -- but it's also environmentally responsible!

We constantly believe in recycling and just a few weeks ago I had to drop off some trash at the dumpster and you wouldn't believe how many computer screens and hard drives I saw in a pile at the dumpster.

I applaud any company that's willing to offer their consumers a great product - but also are trying to be ecologically responsible!

Project me!

In the past we've always purchased projectors for work. It seems like it's been the best idea and option for us - til now.

Now there's a new option - projector rentals!

Not only can you get the newest and up-to-date technology - but you don't have to make the initial huge investment of a projector that you might use a few times.

It seems like a win win situation.

Projector123.com offers some great options and you can even view which projector you would like to rent. They can mail it out Fed-Ex and all over the United States.

The website is easy to use and you can even order the projector online.

THis might actually be a great option for our get togethers when we want to watch movies! We've done it before at our friend Jen's and we all lay on the floor and watch crappy movies!

Become part of the action!

I have a marketing background and so marketing my business comes pretty easy to me. However, a good marketer always know how to reach out and stay on top of the game.

Lately, a lot of companies and organizations have found a great clientele online. It's important for small business mavericks to do smart PR. God knows, that with a small business you don't have all of the advertising money in the world to spend.

That's why it's important to spend your marketing money effectively and target your audience. Without doing your research - it's just like throwing your money down the toilet.

Small Business Mavericks
has just launched it's 2 tiered affiliate program where you can earn a nice commission of 35% on every product that you sell! You can also earn a 15% commission on every product that someone you refer sells.

Gotta love the trickle down effect sometimes?!?

Sign-up is a piece of cake and you can do it directly from the homepage.

Now, SmallBusinessMavericks.com offers a great website for small business owners. Not only can you get some great information and marketing tips, but also information on running your business effectively.

CTS Wholesalers is looking for people who want to make money selling sunglasses! The sunglasses start at $10 a pair and up and they offer over 300 different styles. You can sell them at carnivals, festivals, online, flea markets, or at the mall.

I’m not a big sunglasses fan. Mainly because I just forget! I forget where I put the sunglasses and then when I have them in a nice safe place I forget to put them on my face!

Margot on the other hand - has the oh-so-fashionable clip-ons. The good thing is over the years she no longer wears her purple croakies!

I must admit - I love the idea of wearing sunglasses and if I actually wore them I’d want to purchase them from Wholesale Sunglasses! They offer a great selection and better yet - great prices!

Finally

a website that's not just out to make a buck and actually has a goal with the community in mind!

When I was younger I used to volunteer at the local soup kitchens and homeless shelters. It was amazing some of the things I saw. I remember holding a 2 week old baby in my arms, without a diaper, and so hungry that he ate 3 huge formula bottles. He obviously had not been cared for and at the age of 14 all I wanted to do was to take this baby home with me and raise him in a loved environment.

When I see an organization doing something for charity or trying to make the world a better place — I try to show my support!

AutoCity101.com offers used cars for sale. Their website is easy to use and navigate through and you can search a large database of great, used automobiles available by owner. The best part of the website - they are using the funds raised from the website to support orphanages in Mexico.

What a worthy cause worth supporting and it reminds me of the little baby that I held many years back that needed the same support…

Show me the money.

The whole idea of starting my own business was to make enough revenue for me to stay home with the baby and work flexible hours. Of course, it never quite panned out that way! It's hard starting a new business and only being able to do it Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am - 5pm!

So I've been looking at ways to make money and I stumbled across "The Secret". "The Secret" is promoted by some of Americas greatest people including: Oprah Winfrey and Larry King. It was noted as Amazon's #1 book and DVD within months of it's release.

There are some great ideas in the book and DVD and it's a powerful message to anyone starting out in life and business.

People walk away motivated and really ready to change they way they see the world!

Now "The Secret" offers a seminar and affiliate program for those looking to become wealthy! It's a "How-To" program for anyone interested in a step-by-step walkthrough of how to make money and be successful!

"The Secret Science of Getting Rich" is now available and for the investing price of $1,995 you can know all of the greatest secrets of some of the worlds most successful and wealthiest people alive!

Don't let this moment pass you by. It's worth the initial investment and could change your life for the better!

On the road again...

Today I went to Syracuse for a doctor's appointment and ran errands in Cortland and Ithaca.

To say the least -- I'm beat! I've been up since 3:30am working on my appeal for the insurance claim.

Now, I'm going to take a nap!

Oh to be a sub!

I subbed yesterday and I actually had a really good time. I was warned about the kids prior to starting. I was even told that one of the kids had just come back from prison. Didn't scare me in the least and I figured that I went to high school with criminals!

The kids were actually really well behaved and very friendly.

There was a pregnant 10th grader in one of my classes. I asked her when she was due and she "said tomorrow." It made me incredibly sad to know that this poor girl is going to be a mother. She was a hard working student and one of the very few who actually worked the whole period and answered questions when asked.

No call back.

I ended up getting ahold of the family that called Friday when I was teaching. They were looking for help with transporting mom to Virginia. It sounded like they needed a wheelchair van and maybe even an aid to go with them.

The family was really nice and I ended up speaking with the daughter in law with the son in the background. What they've decided to do is rent a wheelchair accessible van, dope mom up on narcotics, and transport her to Virginia.

I think it's going to be a taxing trip for mom though and I'm not sure that the local doctor's even know that she's going! They might even advise against it since she's in so much pain.

The dilemma of course is that the elderly woman is a very healthy 92 years old and has a really good genes that would allow her to live many more years! Many doctors shy away from operating on someone so old. However, this poor lady is in tons of pain.

My advise was to seek recommedations in town and even at local hospitals such as Strong in Rochester or some of the bigger hospitals in Syracuse.

Our friends...

When our friends Alex and Dominic moved to the United States from London they had tons of stuff! It was an absolute nightmare for them to get everything together and to ship it across the world! They ended up flying over with some of it and then shipping the rest.

They should have hired International Movers
to help them with all of their moving needs. Not only will MovingCompanies.tv make all arrangements to guarantee that your move is a smooth one. They are the professionals and only deal with the best moving companies in the business.

Not to mention they worked with insured movers who will guarantee that your prized possessions end up the way that they started --- in tact!

Got liposuction?

Just the other day I was watching television and saw one of the Plastic Surgery shows performing liposuction. It was quite disturbing - yet intriguing! I just kept watching of course in envy!

Boy, I can only imagine if I got a tummy tuck — it’d take them all day to do! Good thing they wouldn’t charge by the pound!

Rodeo Drive Tummy Tuck offers tummy tucks in the luxury of a boutique setting.

Of course, our first suggestion for a plastic surgeon would be Dr. Manuel F. Chiuten in New York City. But if you live on the west coast and your looking for the job to be done right go to the best plastic surgery in California - Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery!

If you are in the Los Angeles and only want the best in a luxury setting look no further. Rodeo Drive Plastic Surgery performed in a beautiful office with top notch staff is here!

Dr. Lloyd Kreiger and Dr. Marc Kerner have been featured in dozens of magazines and in the national media. Both doctors work together to get you not only the prettiest nose but the a nose that functions properly. They operate out of the 5,000 square foot facility and have worked with nearby merchants to provide an overall makeover after surgery.

Their patients can walk away with a new body, hairstyle, outfit, and an overall new sense of self!

The great thing about this is that after you get your nose fixed you can walk down the street to show it off at some of the classic boutiques! Of course, it might look like you just got into a bar fight — but I hear this can be a popular look in Los Angeles these days - it’s called “The Whitney look”.

Take me to Hawaii!

All of the pictures I have ever seen of Hawaii are so beautiful. I've always wanted go to there!

We've been in need of a vacation for some time. We ended up booking our vacation to Cancun, Mexico a few days ago. However, after looking online at pictures of Hawaii and some of the great ecotourism they offer — we might reconsider!

I’ve heard that Hawaii is beautiful and there are a few things that have held us back. One being that the flight is way too long for us with a 2 year old! The other thing is that it seems so expensive compared to some of the other beachy vacations out there.

Now there’s a new way of planning an affordable and luxurious vacation to Hawaii. Kauai Ecotourism Vacation Rentals offer some beautiful and affordable rentals.

One of the most popular vacations these days is supporting ecotourism. This started years ago with trips to Columbia to look at the beautiful rainforests. Now, it’s being offered in beautiful Hawaii. You can look at the beautiful sea life, the rain forests, and be part of it all by feeding the economy to show your support.

Insurance burdens.

If you've read my other blogs you've seen my complaints lately dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield. At this point I'm looking for a new health insurance plan.

What I've learned is that health insurance is very hard to come by and there's so much information out there. Not to mention there are hundreds of different plans and it's hard to figure out which one would be the best for me.

There's one website that helps with looking for health insurance and provides information for consumers and benefit managers.

At this point if I am denied coverage again for infertility I'll be looking for coverage as soon as next month!

HELP.

After I lost all of my weight I should have considered a tummy tuck. The thing is... I figured since I wanted to get pregnant I'd just stretch the skin out all over again!

Of course, our first suggestion for a plastic surgeon would be Dr. Manuel F. Chiuten in New York City. But if you live on the west coast and your looking for the job to be done right go to the best plastic surgery in California - Rodeo Drive Tummy Tuck!

SO COOL.

So the hottest new thing these days, as I was told by my seventh graders the other day, is to customize your cell phone! All of the middle schoolers that I teach for have cell phones and they even bring them to school!

Not only do they doll their phones up with cases, carriers, and ring tones but the hottest thing is U-DOO by Wirefly!

U-DOO gives you tons of customization features and allows you to do almost anything with your cell phone! One feature that I think is really cool is Avatars. You can customize a "person" to be the person that's calling you. Whether it be your friend, mother, boyfriend/girlfriend.

When that person calls their cartoon figure appears on your phone! You can also send the avatar to another cell phone as part of a message!

You can even email the avatars to people and have them talk as part of the greetings! You can have them say funny and cheesy sayings too!

What better way to get an email or cell phone greeting than by seeing a cartoon of a person with a funny phrase!

When I was in school the cool thing was pagers! I can't imagine growing up in a day in age that has cell phones and Avatars!

Lucky kids!

Client call.

I got a call the other day when I was teaching. The gentleman is looking for someone to transport his mother from a local nursing home to Springfield, Mass. The main issue, however, is that mom has a broken hip!

I tried calling back last night but they didn't have an answering machine and it just kept ringing.

I think the best solution would probably to have the client go in a wheelchair van. I'd be scared to transport someone so feeble in my car because God forbid something were to happen along the way. Even the simple task of taking her out of the car to go to the bathroom would be hard.

The alternative is having her pee in my car and I'm not down with that idea!

I'm sellin' shades, baby!

I've been looking for odds and ends jobs to help save for my retirement and to contribute to Grammy's college fund.

One of the greatest ways to make money is in retail! CTS Wholesalers is looking for people who want to make money selling sunglasses! You can sell them at carnivals, festivals, online, flea markets, or at the mall.

Looking for the perfect person?

A date that is!

It's so hard trying to meet people these days. I know many people, including myself, who have resorted to online dating services!

It was the perfect way for me to date around without wasting my time. If I didn't like the person I was chatting with I didn't have to sit through a long, boring, and expensive date!

JustSayHi.com offers an awesome website that's easy to use and the best part -- it's FREE!! True.com offers the same services but charges an arm and a leg! JustSayHi.com never ask for a credit card number and they really have some great profiles to choose from. Plus, you can build your own and put yourself on the market!

Maybe Margot's brother should check this out!

This post sponsored by: JustSayHi

So much to do...so little time.

Since I'm subbing tomorrow and I'll have to leave at 7:00 and not get back til 3:00pm I'll have to squeeze in my blogging within a few hours! Typically it takes around 2-3 hours to get all of it out of the way.

Wish me luck!

Office of Aging?

I was surprised to see that the Office of Aging is in the bottom floor of the courthouse. It seems very inconvienant for seniors to get down town. The parking is horrible and it's located down two flights of stairs. I didn't see an elevator.

Doesn't seem to be the best location for their new set up?

Oh dear God.

I'm so damn tired and I feel like I haven't had a day off in years! Of course, it's only Tueday and I know that I've been putting in a lot of hours working, blogging, and also trying to plan our vacation.

We just signed Graem up for the IC3 located at Warren Road and in August we're going to move from 2 days to 3 so that I can work more.

I figure this summer when she's there I'm going to do outreach in the local areas and I'll probably head out to Cortland, Corning, Watkins Glen, and even in good ole' Trumansburg!

Protect yourself!

When I worked at a corporate healthcare company it didn't matter what I did...someone would always upload a virus! Not only did people not get the whole idea of deleting mail that had various attachments from strangers - but they'd constantly open up websites that contained viruses.

One way to gain access control of your computer systems is through Symark. Not only can you see what your employees are doing while on the clock but you can monitor items so that your network remains virus-free.

This could have saved us many days of down-time had we had a simple program like Symark up and running!

Not to mention all of the frustrations and cursing that took place!

Got the job!

I got a call Monday to sub for the local high school Wednesday. I'm glad that I'll be teaching business because it's really the first time that I'll have taught something that I know a little something about!!

I have to be there at 7:30am and I get out at 2:45pm.

Not too shabby for a mere $75.

Check it out, girls!

Finally, it seems that there has been a website created for women - by women! Inchicks.com launches it’s new website and already it is turning heads! It’s currently a beta site — but looks pretty darn good!

They make it easy to catch up on some of the big stories out there. I like the way the website is set up not only is it easy to follow but it gives you all of the important information without any advertising!! (God knows, we get enough website on our own personnal website!)

They also offer celebrity gossip, coupons and specials, family, funny stuff, healthy and fitness, movies and television, music, news and politics, odd and bizarre, opposite sex, shopping, and style and fashion.

That’s just about anything and everything a girl could want in an online site - shopping, movies, television and I love how all of the articles are rated - so I don't have to waste my time!!

Making the move?

Spring is almost around the corner and this is the time when we see tons of transition in our area. May and June are the biggest moving months in our area and most times it's because the students have graduated, professors are moving on, and we get a fresh batch of new Ithacans!

One company that has grown over the past few years and I see nationally is Remax! They have a great reputation in our area and beyond. Looking at Mississauga Real Estate the market is hot!

Mississauga is located in Ontario, Canada and you can really get your money's worth. There are beautiful houses and if you like the winter --- then you'll love living there cause they get a lot of it.

That's why it's nice to have a beautiful house at a great price - since you'll be hibernating for about 9 months out of a year!

Bringing in the $

I'm always looking at ways to make money. Lately, it's been actually blogging and subbing.

I have however, been submitting some resumes here and there to work at the university. I haven't had much luck and I'm starting to wonder if I'm applying for jobs that might be a little out of my reach or maybe I need to update my resume.

I hope that taking time off to raise Graem doesn't hurt my chances of obtaining a job in the future. However, a gap in employment is hard to explain in a resume and coverletter and it looks like I've been out of the workforce for 2 years now.

It's well worth the sacrifice...but I should look into how to make the transition a little bit smoother.

Back to work it is...

Friday I was going to take off to clean the house and try to get things organized. However, I got an unexpected call and they were desperate for subs at the local elementary.

I figured since they were willing to be flexible and I could work 10-2 I should go with the offer!

So, I worked 4 hours - got out at 2pm and made $80.

Not too shabby!

I love Charles Brown!

I'm not talking about the TV character either...

I've always made it priority to get my teeth cleaned and checked every 6 months. I have a pretty good dentist and really nice dental hygenist.

However, if I lived in Alexandria I wouldn't have access to Dr. Gardner and Chris and I'd probably have to switch over to another fine doctor.

I've heard great things about Hayfield Dental Care. Most recently Margot's brother talked about his experience with Charles Brown DDS PC.

Dr. Brown has preformed thousands of procedures including crowns, root canals, and surgical procedures. So I'm sure he could probably handle my simple cleaning and x-ray every 6 months!

Something that's very important to me and speaks volumes of Dr. Brown as a dentist is that he has ZERO complaints with the Virginia Board of Dentistry. That's absolutely amazing!

Charles Brown has received numerous awards locally and even as a Resident.

Another great thing about Hayfield Dental Care is that they are accepting new patients and also open to emergency situations.

Give them a call and remember that you only have one set of adult teeth - so take care of them!

MOMMY'S HOME!

YAH!

We all love it when Mommy walks in the door! I thought I heard her drive up about 10 minutes ago and then nothing.

But then I just realized that she's been trying to move all of our recycling bins and trash out to the curb.

Too bad I didn't realize what she was doing and go out and help.

Oops. Bad Mama.

To sub or not to sub?

Okay, so I know I just let out a big rant on subbing and not getting paid but I'm wondering if I should try to pick up a subbing job.

When I do get paid it is nice to have an extra $80 and if I can get middle schoolers it's really not too bad!

It's when they are really young or really old that's hard!

Ideally...

when my business gets off the ground I'd like to have a nice website set up and have all of my contact information on there. I'd also like a question and answer section, frequently asked questions, and an option to order services online and pay via credit card!

It's a matter of doing business online and being saavy enough to accept credit card and run e-commerce. With that in mind -- I might be interested in getting shopping cart software.

The good thing about that is that I could keep my invoicing online and that would be perfect...the downfall of course is that if I'm dealing with seniors some might not have access to a computer and I wouldn't want to lose business.

Ashop.com.au offers a great software that allows you to run e-commerce and even offer online shopping through your website.

Damn beelers.

That's what we call the snowmobilers. They revv their engines up and we hear them at all hours of the night riding outside.

A few weeks ago one got stuck in our back yard and we saw him trying to dig the snowmobile out of 3 feet of snow. Margot went out there and lend him our shovel that was in the nearby shed.

He didn't say thank you or anything.

Jerk.

I really should...

get my fat ass out of the chair and start cooking dinner. But I just can't break away and think that I'll miss the moment that PPP posts all of it's good offers for the day.

Boy...I am a freak and need to get a life.

Will you marry me?

Of course, I'm not proposing to anyone but I thought the title would get everyone's attention!

We've been to a few weddings over the past few years and our favorite part of the wedding aside from the yummy cake is the personalized wedding favors!

ShopForWeddings.com offers a large selection of party and wedding favors for your guests. The website is easy to use and if you have questions or would like to place an order they also have a 1-800 number.

If you go on their website now they are currently offering a promotion of 10% off of your order!

One of my favorite items offered on the website is this "Take outs - the better boob job" container.

I tend to think it offers a classy alternative to the gift bag or even take home container.

When's mommy coming home?

Okay, I want Margot to come home!! It seems like she's been working way too much and I just miss her! Even when she's around and we aren't directly talking I like to feel her close.

It's been hard not only on Grammy to have Margot working so much --- but also me.

Quite the mood...

So after I got off with payroll lady for the third time today she said that she's going to contact the Treasurer and see if they can cut me a check tomorrow because they held onto my payroll form for ONE MONTH!!!

Of course, I'm pretty steamed about that --- so I decided to write Netflix a nice little correspondance as well. It seems like they have been taking their sweet time with delivering our movies and of course that means that we don't have them in time to watch them!

I sent our movies out Monday and they are saying they didn't get them til today?!?! In the past they've gotten them the next day and that same day they send out a new video.

I think someone's sleeping in their mailroom.

My lawyer's better than yours!

Luckily for us, we have not had to engage the services of an attorney many times in our lives--just for our wills, power of attorney, living wills, health care proxies, and most currently, our second-parent adoption for Grammy. In other words, just to protect the rights already afforded to heterosexual couples.

In the past, we've needed advice on real estate issue--our neighbors were getting a zoning variance for an oversized garage they decided to build within the zone-required setback, in an already undersized parcel.

If we had known that the local zoning board of appeals was going to be a bunch of pushovers, we might have consulted with a firm like Simmons Jannace & Stagg, a firm that specializes in real estate, zoning and land use law.

Maybe then we could keep our neighbors from building on our property!

I feel like chicken tonight..

Well, since chicken is the only thing that we have in the fridge and it's been sitting out for the past two days...it looks like that's what's on the menu tonight!

More than likely I will use the grill pan and then shred it so that we can have chicken salad on the delicious wheat, honey, apple, and oat bread.

I've really got to go grocery shopping this weekend. (I've been saying that for the past 2 weeks now!)

Quite the conversation...

Well, I just got off of the phone with the Payroll Coordinator at the school district. She's about as worthless as a rock. She has no followup and basically told me that I needed to track down the payroll sheet.

How in the hell am I suppose to do that?? So I told her that if I didn't get paid tomorrow I was camping out at the Superintendents office and I wasn't leaving til I got a paycheck.

Of course I'm way too lazy to do that and that's just crazy lingo. But Jesus..I worked for them. What's up with paying me?!?!

You need some major help...

if you have been pulled over for drinking and driving while intoxicated.

I have a few friends that have been pulled over for DUIs. Both of them got their licenses suspended and had to actually go to a class. I think it's a good thing and I hope that they took the offense seriously.

The thing about DUI that I think is unfair is that all judges and courts have different stipulations and punishments. It just depends on who your attorney is, how good of a job they do, and how much money you have!

There are many San Diego Criminal Defense Lawyers - but when it comes to something like a DUI you really want a firm that specializes in DUI/DWI. Liberty Lawyers have provided legal services for thousands of people who have had DUIs and DWIs. They know the in's and out's and are able to provide you with the very best legal information available.

Check out their website. It has some really useful information that could save you from getting your license suspended.

Damn ICSD.

I have been subbing for some time and I have to call weekly just to get things straightened out with payroll. The lady there is such a moron and each week she says they are going pay me and I never get a check.

At this point I've decided that I'm not going to substitute for that school district because they really screw you when it comes to payment.

What a mess.

My poor car.

We are doing everything in our power to not have to buy a new car. My poor 2000 Honda CRV has been in the shop. We're trying to maintain it and make sure that it gets all of it's needed maintenance before it falls apart.

It has about 125,000 miles and it's really been a good car. Despite that fact that we use it in the snow, traveling everywhere, and I've had it for 3 different jobs.

Not too shabby!

Hookin' a sista up!

We do love the rebates and coupons! I finally purchased the USB hard drive I’ve been talking about for two months or so, and wish I had had a coupon. Ebates.com is an online portal that has rebates, cash back offers and coupons for use on hundreds of online retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Target, Staples, Gap.com, Nordstrom, and Circuit City. Rebates and cash back offers vary from 5% to 25%, so on a large purchase, that can make a difference!

I like the fact that Ebates.com tends to offer a promotional code and it's typically always updated. So you don't have to keep looking at other sites for a code that works!

For the socially-conscious folks among us, Ebates now has a charitable giving program for rebates. Being that it’s almost the end of the fiscal year, this might be a good way to make up the charitable giving we’ve all put off for the entire year. It’s money you would have spent anyway, so it won’t be missed.

New Computer.

One thing that I'm really going to think seriously about is getting a new computer. The computer that we have is a laptop and it's two years old but we use it every day for at least 4 hours a day. It's a Dell inspiron 8600 and it's big, and when it's been running for a while it gets so damn hot I feel that it's frying my ovaries.

I'm looking at either getting another Dell laptop or even an Apple like Dennis. I like the fact that it has a camera on the top and it seems pretty graphic and user friendly.

Of course, the only thing I'm worried about is that I'd have problems finding software that we compatiable with the Apple and the Dell.

So tired.

Okay, I must admit that I've been a blogging machine lately. (As if you couldn't tell from all of the damn advertising all over this website!!)

I'm exhausted and although, I've made a lot of money doing it ... I'm somewhat obsessed with getting every offer.

I keep telling myself - take the offers cause God knows I could wake up tomorrow and this whole blogging for money thing could all be gone!

When the kid gets older...

and maybe when we get another baby we are definately going to make it a priorty to go on vacation. When I was a kid we *never* went on family vacations. I can't tell you if it's because my parents didn't have much money or noone wanted to be around each other for more than two days at a time!

Margot and I have talked about making a trip to Orlando, Florida. Of course, we'd probably fly, rent a car and look for Orlando hotels. OrlandoVacation.com offers some great discounts on vacations in the Orlando and surrounding area and can really help when planning a vacation.

Living up here in New York it's hard to plan a vacation because we have no idea what the area is like - nor do we know what the fun things to do there are!

So, it's nice to know that you can check out one website that has it all!

TREASURE! TREASURE! FIND THE TREASURE!

Okay, so I've become completely obsessed with "The Backyardigans". I find myself singing the songs constantly and I must admit that I even sing them when Graem is nowhere near me!

Have I absolutely gone over the deep end?

Is there help for people like me?

Consulting.

The other day I went to the massage therapist and during the massage we kept talking about her parents and how she was going to try to get them into assisted living and how her father has dementia but he doesn't want to move...

Well, to make a long story short...I gave her tons of free advise and information. At what point do I withold information because this is stuff that I charge people for?

Is that weird?

I want to go!!!!

TO DISNEY!!!

We've seen tons of commercials on the television lately promoting Disney and each time we think that it's going to be a blast when Graem gets older and we can take her!

We went a few years ago with Margot's Uncle and Aunt and had such a great time! They had tickets to Disney and MGM so fortunately we didn't have to pay for them.

When we go though, I'm sure we can probably get discount Disney Tickets through OrlandoFunTickets. They have great information on the Orlando area including accomodation information and great hints to make your trip to Disney more enjoyable!

Not to mention -- they offer tons of coupons and savings for Disney, restaurants, and other destinations in the Orlando area.

This website could save you tons on your trip to see Mickey and Minnie!

Interesting...

Since Graem has been out of the hospital her insurance company called Margot yesterday and even sent a letter to the house.

Of course, we can't figure if they are genuinely concerned or of they're being nosy. It's not like you can fake asthma and pnemonia?!?!

But then again, maybe they just us to be "better" so they don't have to pay hospital premiums at $1,000 per day!

Insurance.

I'm just paying for my COBRA insurance so that I can have the infertility benefits. We pay approx. $375/month. The regular healthy NY with both me and Grammy runs about $400!

So, hopefully, once I get pregnant and stay pregnant for 12 weeks or so...I'm switching back to Healthy NY.

To travel, have money, and homes everywhere!

We really should buy a home in a sunny place!

Obviously, here in Ithaca, NY our relator of choice is Mary Stoe. If we ever wanted to buy a house I'm pretty sure she'd be the person we'd contact.

However, if we wanted to buy a house in sunny Orlando we'd have to look for an Orlando Real Estate Agent!

Property values in Orlando are always hot and it's a very good investment. Margot's dad owns a house in Miami and already the value since he purchased it a few years ago has increased drastically.

Check out Orlando-Buyersagent.com for great information on Real Estate agents in the Orlando, Florida area.

We should be getting ready now!

It seems like I have so many things to do and at this point I should be in the shower and we should be out the door in about thirty minutes.

It seems like we're constantly running late and I never can get out of the house when I actually had planned. Which of course, means that I run late to everything!

Maybe, I should just get a personal assistant. Yeah, that'll happen.

How do I find time to work?!?!

With Grammy being so active these days it's really been a struggle to keep things together on the homefront, go to appointments, take care of Graem, and then do work!

I've learned to give up on the housework, we've started eating out more, and well -- cartoons have become my best friend.

I'm really going to work harder on organizing my time a little bit better and maybe waking up early to do the blogging.

I don't want to cut in our Grammy and Mama time.

Take me away!!

This has already been one hell of a year. We've lost a baby and now Margot's dad's been diagnosed with cancer.

We really need a vacation. I'd love an all inclusive resort offered through Vacation Resort International.

It feels like over the past few months we've been focused so much on getting pregnant and having a baby that we've forgot about being kind to ourselves and just taking a needed break and getting away!

I'd love to go somewhere sunny that has cold drinks and a warm beach and of course daycare for Grammy!

When we went to the Caribbean it was so much fun and we loved the hotel, food, fun, beach, and all the fun water stuff available.

Vacation Resort International offers some great all-inclusive vacations at savings of up to 50% off!

Making the business work...

I met with my friend, Diane, yesterday. She's the one that helped me set up my business through the credit union. She actually decided to stay home with her daughter and start a marketing business.

She actually is going back to work Monday because financially, they just can't make things work.

We talked about how hard it is to have a business and to be a full time mommy. The whole thing about it is hard because the reality is if you want a business to work you really have to bust your ass and if you're not doing that then it's hard to get a new business off of the ground.

The flip side of that is that you don't want to bust your ass because that's why you're staying home with your kid in the first place! To raise them and not have them in daycare.

So, I think trying to have a business part-time is a great idea...but conceptually just doesn't work as well as I had thought.

That's not to say that this summer I won't go back out there and start marketing when Grammy's in daycare.

Back to work Friday?

I think I'm going to try to get a subbing gig Friday. Of course, Wednesday it didn't seem like they had too many openings so I'll just have to see how it goes.

I don't mind subbing at all --- but prefer not to sub Elementary kids again! They don't listen and I feel like the whole time I was there I was telling them to "Please be quiet!"

I don't want Graem to turn into an Elementary kid!

Show me the silver, baby!

One thing that never loses it’s value is silver coins! Even when our stocks are floundering you can always look to silver, gold, and precious metals to maintain their value.

Monex Deposit Company offers silver and other precious metals for delivery or they will make arrangements to have your metals stored privately and securely at a bank or depository.

I didn’t realize this but Monex Deposit Company (MDC) is an industry leader. They sell silver in two forms: coin or ingot. We all know what the coins look like, but the ignots are pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. I can only imagine they look like the blocks that are in most cartoons!

The world demand now exceeds the supply demand for silver - which makes it a pretty smart investment.

Makin' the big bucks!

I'm constantly looking for ways to make money. One way that I'm able to stay at home with Grammy is to pick up odds and ends jobs and work from home.

One thing that actually peaked my interest is becoming a partner of a reseller program that offers data deposit boxes!

Online Backup Reseller Success is constantly growing!

Data Deposit Box alone has a 25% quarterly growth increase! Since their customers are happy with the product and service offered there is also a 95% retention factor too!

It almost sounds too good to be true but the reality is that when people upload all of their goodies to an online storage space - they're set! People would stay with the service for a long time unless they were dissatisfied!

Of course, we ended up buying an external drive to store all of our items --- but I wish we would have gone through the data deposit box. We would lose everything if there was a fire or something tragic happened to our house.

ME WANTS!

So I'm totally hooked on video games (as if you haven't noticed.) We have a PlayStation 2 and a Nintendo Wii and always try to get the newest and coolest games when they come out.

One game that really caught my eye is Siberia 2!

Check out these awesome graphics:

This game is available only on clickgamer.com and it's the exclusive English version. The sad part about it though is that it's only available on the pocket PC.

This game has been noted as one of the greatest games out there and it's a combination of mystery and adventure. It has a cool story line and it's really for the true gamer to appreciate!

Hmmm, maybe now I can justify getting a pocket PC? I mean I could use it for work too. *smile*

I need to get...

a business credit card. I think it would probably make my life a lot easier to have one because not only would I not have to go through all of my purchases come tax time but I could use my statements as the receipts for my purchases.

CardFusion is a great website that has tons of information about credit cards. They also do a great job at educating people on how to choose a credit card that's going to be right for you and your financial situation.

I'm interested in the business card and something that offers rewards. More than likely, I'd pay the card off every month and I have stellar credit.

Helpful information that will guide you...

through the process of Plastic Surgery.

Deciding to go through with a surgery can be a scary ordeal. Especially if you don't know what you're getting into.

When you choose to have Plastic Surgery it's because you are unhappy with the way something looks and would like for it to look better.

Now there's a place where you can get information on plastic surgery. They will walk you through all of the procedures and different types of operations that are available.

Plastic Surgery information is a guide written by professionals that will help you when meeting with your own plastic surgeon. The most important part of the procedure is knowing what you're getting into and being educated and comfortable with your decisions and your doctor's decisions.

The best part of this website is that they have a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section that I found to be very informative.

When having surgery make sure that you know the details, get the facts, and go to a credible doctor who you feel comfortable with. You can never ask too many questions!

Show me the money, baby!!

One of the greatest ways to make money is in retail! CTS Wholesalers is looking for people who want to make money selling sunglasses! You can sell them at carnivals, festivals, online, flea markets, or at the mall.

They also offer clip-ons for people who wear glasses and like the “clip-on” feel! (Margot)

Their wide variety of Wholesale Fashion Sunglasses is amazing and they have great brands that look exactly like the designers like: Gucci, Fendi, Calvin Klein, New Buckle Design, Christian Dior, Armani, Bolle, Coach, Diesel, DKNY, and Versace.

Looking goooooooooooood, girl!

With the summer approaching us it's time to start thinking about a new pair of sunglasses. I was just looking for my pair the other day. When I found them they were bent and one of the lenses had popped out.

Of course, in upstate New York with snow constantly around in the winter time it's also good to have a nice pair of polarized sunglasses so that you aren't blinded by the whiteness!

I guess it's that time to get a new pair of sunglasses!

Polarized Sunglasses are not only trendy and stylish but also provide a great amount of protection for one of your most valueable assets - your eyes.

ADSEyewear offers some great shades at really reasonable prices. Their website is easy to use and you can even order online. They offer free shipping and they even offer gift certificates!

Check out the different manufacturers that they care such as: Adidas, Bolle, Nike, Rec Specs, and Smith Sunglasses. Names you can trust.

ADSEyewear offers a liberal return policy and have a lifetime warranty on their products. You can't find that *anywhere*!

What a great voice you have...

THE BETTER TO SCREAM AT YOU, my dear!

I love a man with a deep, masculine voice. Most of the commercials you hear out there are done by voiceovers. The ones that appeal to me most are calmer commercials with a nice, rich, clear voice.

My Voice Over Guy of choice is D.C. Douglas. His voice is clear, deep, and has a really nice tone to it. He’s been in thousands of radio and television commercials. His voice is perfect for both serious topics as well as comedic issues.

He has done advertisements for clients like: Geico, Honda, Six Flags, and many, many more. Check out his website to get an idea of what D.C. Douglas has to offer. There’s a wide variety of work that he has done in the past and he’s always up for a challenge to do new work!

Hot Wheels!

When we were in college we had motorcycles. We owned a Yamaha Maxim 550 and a Honda 250. Both of the bikes were 20 plus years but seemed to work pretty good. Margot took the motorcycle class and I decided I could figure out how to ride one by myself with a class!

I was hell on wheels. In the 10 minutes that I spent learning how to ride the motorcycle in the parking lot of our apartment class — I didn’t learn how to turn or handle a bike! When we used to go riding Margot was constantly helping me pick my bike off of the ground and me with it! I didn’t get into any major accidents. Most of the time I would drop the bike at a stopsign. It was quite the sight!

We came to realize that bikers are some of the nicest people out there and although we weren’t involved in the community we had other friends that were bikers too.

Check out the 1st sport bike social networking site! There are bound to be some great people, cool bikes, and people who really want to get together and have a good time! Not to mention, it’d be nice to have a riding buddy.

God knows, I might have needed a few riding buddies in my time so that Margot could have a break!

HELP! My aching back!

Both Shawna and I have had our bouts with back pain. At times, the pain is intense enough as to keep us from moving. We’ve tried multiple treatments for the pain, ranging from physical therapy, weight loss and exercise, chiropractic, analgesics and muscle relaxants, massage and acupuncture. From most of the people we’ve talked to, it seems like surgery is the last resort option–that doesn’t necessarily resolve any of the pain.

I had really bad sciatica when I was pregnant and saw a physical therapist/chiropractor who specialized in prenatal care. The chiropractic work was the only thing that relieved the pain enough so that I could stand and walk. I think we’re ready to try something new.

Harrington Chiropractic, PC and Laser Therapy Center provides not only chiropractic care, but the latest in laser therapy care. The K-Laser 6d is a Class IV therapeutic laser that penetrates through tissue to promote tissue reproduction and growth.

Laser therapy also reduces fibrous scar tissue and swelling caused by inflammation. It sounds like a cool idea–who doesn’t love a good laser!

A helpful resource when you need a "job" well done

Being that we have a Plastic Surgeon in the family, more than likely if we need plastic surgery done, we would seek the advise of my father.

The most important part about choosing a good plastic surgeon is find not only looking at their education and experience but also making sure that they are the right fit for you. Many times people sacrifice a good bed side manner for “a better technical doctor.”

That doesn’t have to be the case. There are thousands of doctors out there who will give you both quality care with a friendly bedside manner.

Check out this: Plastic Surgery Resource - Plastic Surgeons who want to be your doctor and are willing to go out of their way to not only make you look beautiful but to feel comfortable.

The website offers tons of information about the different types of plastic surgery and also includes before and after photographs so that you can get an idea of the quality of work done.

LookingYourBest.com offers a great website that acts as a referral to practicing Plastic Surgeons in your area. You can search by zip code or start from the beginning and look through the alphabet. Not only can you look at the doctor’s profile, you can see his photo gallery of before and after pictures, a map, and even schedule a consult!

This is really the easiest way to do your homework and get an idea of the doctor that’s going to be best for you and your needs.

Check out this idea!

When I started my business, Senior Solutions of Ithaca, LLC, I tried to find the most cost effective way to market my business. I had collateral printed at the local office supplies store which included envelopes and letterhead. Then I actually had the brochures printed at an online company. All look very professional and ended up costing me around $600 total.

It was a good investment considering the first job that I had was able to pay for the cost of the printing.

One thing that I’ve looked into is doing a small business movie brochure. See examples of movie brochures here.

Now there is an affordable way for small businesses like mine to afford to do a movie brochure! This can be offered online to your clients through a website or even put on a dvd for your clients to watch on their computers.

Our infertility doctor has a great movie brochure that has illustrations, simulations, along with interviews and contact information. He offers it on DVD in his office and it really compliments his overall marketing materials. He also sends it to prospective clients so that they can get a feel for what a warm and compassionate doctor he is. Something that is sometimes hard to express in a written brochure!

As a small business many times you don’t have a whole lot of money to invest in the beginning. That’s why MarketingSmallBusiness.co.uk is offering a special price of $490 for your movie brochure!

Need a boob job?

Not just a regular job…but a breast job? What about a nose job?

Of course, our favorite Plastic Surgeon, Manuel F. Chiuten, MD (Margot’s dad) is our Plastic Surgeon on choice. But there’s another way to find out about Beverly Hills breast augmentation!

Beverly Hills Breast Augmentation in Beverly Hills, California specializes in all types of plastic surgery. Their website is filled with information on the different types of Plastic Surgery out there. They also show before and after pictures of some of their clients. One thing I found to be helpful is that they offer information on “Most Frequently Asked Questions”.

Beverly Hills Breast Augmentation offers surgery in a boutique setting right on Rodeo Drive! It’s in the heart of Beverly Hills and after your done with your surgery you can walk out the door, get your hair done, and buy a new wardrobe to match your new look!

I can appreciate the fact that it’s not in an institutional setting and that you feel like you’re in a luxary salon. It takes the pressure out of having surgery. The more comfortable and confident you are during the procedure - the better it is going to turn out! Plus, you can wake up knowing that the best doctor’s have worked on your beauty.

Want to get some work done?

On your nose or face?

Of course, our first suggestion for a plastic surgeon would be Dr. Manuel F. Chiuten in New York City. But if you live on the west coast and your looking for the job to be done right go to the best - Rodeo Drive Rhinoplasty.

If you are in the Los Angeles and only want the best in a luxury setting look no further. Beverly Hills Rhinoplasty performed in a beautiful office with top notch staff is here!

Of course, it might look like you just got into a bar fight — but I hear this can be a popular look in Los Angeles these days!

Get top marketing advice!

I have a degree in Business Management and Economics. One of my main studies was Marketing and when I graduated from college one of my first jobs was working for Gannett, Inc. as a Marketing Consultant. Then I was hired as Marketing Director at Alterra.

With both selling advertising and buying advertising — you could say “I’ve been around the block a few times.” I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t work.

There is a new E-Book out by former Google Insider called: “‘37 Killer AdWords Pay-Per-Click Secrets Exposed”. The whole premise behind the book is to teach marketers and advertisers how to come up with those catchy words and phrases that will make your online advertisements pop!

The reality is that people look up certain words on Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. For a Google guru to write the information that so many companies are looking for is amazing! If you use one of the thirty seven words listen within the e-book…you can pretty much guarantee exposure to your product!

I'm way too cool for this!

So the newest question on the internet if you are a blogger or someone trying to promote a website is how do you increase link popularity?

Google search engine assigns websites what they call a Page Rank. Supposedly it's this wild formula and it tells you how popular your website is. This website is ranked as a two and our other Tale of Two Mamas ranks as a 1.

I'm not sure I get it because when it was ranked as a 2 it had only been up and running for close to 45 days and our other website has quite the following and has been up and running for years!

One way to increase your website exposure is building connections. Become part of online communities and also become part of friendly groups that exchange links on websites.

It's all pretty easy to do, not to mention, you might even make some friends out of it!

Get the job done right!

Want to look like a new, thinner, more beautiful you?

I love me some Hookah!

Our dear friend Jenny S. has a hookah that she often brings out at her extravagant parties. While Margot's not one to try it–like her brother she's never even taken a drag off an unlit cigarette–I'm all in at parties. We used to get into fights about smoking–she hates it, think it’s disgusting, and the deal was no kisses if I smoked. Now the need for both smoking and kisses seems to have subsided, so that’s no longer an issue.

However, hookah smoking doesn’t seem to bother Margot as much–the smoke is cooler. Plus, our unwritten rule in these parts is that all smoking–hookah included–occurs outside. When Jenny and the girls get together, they go through tons of hookah tobacco, including flavored, and well, uh, wacky tobaccky.

It seems that Jenny was cool before hookahs were cool, and now it’s all the rage. I think she picked hers up in Africa–that’s true commitment. Last summer when we went to Vegas, we drove by at least two hookah bars near our resort. The idea intrigued me–not that I’d smoke–but somehow the thought of bringing the then-18-month-old Grammy into a hookah bar didn’t seem right. Even in Vegas.

Peanut butter is not your friend.

A few weeks ago many people were affected by the huge peanut butter recall due to salmonella.

Many people suffered damages, pain and suffering, and possible death because corporations did not take specific procautions to make sure that their product was safe and healthy.

If you were involved in the Peanut Butter recall and got sick from the digestion of peanut butter then you should contact attorneys that are currently trying to head up class action lawsuits against ConAgra Foods.

If you are looking for the Peter Pan Peanut Butter Lawyer look no further - the case is currently being represented by Parker Waichman Alonso Mark LLP and Neblett, Beard & Arsenault LLP.

Be part of the action! If you've suffered don't let these corporate monsters get away with the shortcuts and trying to save money. We trust them every day to provide us with safe and healthy products. They've failed us miserably.

We love art!

We have art throughout our house. In fact, if I go to someone’s house and they don’t have art I always feel like the walls or naked and the room is cold and sterile to me. Our art tastes range from contemporary to realistic. We have original artwork and prints from a number of different artists. Some of our best artwork are from online starving artists and we purchased their pieces through E-Bay! The other art that we own is from local artists including Susan Titus and our very own, Lydia!

Russian Artist Victor Lysakov has a great flair for art and I really like some of his pieces. His modern and expressionist paintings are very vibrant and have unique composition. Each one of his images has a captivating story which accompanies each purchased print. The prints are reasonably priced and would really look nice in any room of the house. They are printed on high quality glossy paper and they look just like the real thing!

Check out the website — there are really some great pieces and you can purchase online or call to place an order. I promise you there will be a few pieces that you will fall in love with!

Got big breasts?

No, I mean big ones. If you are a regular sized woman with big breasts there’s now a clothing store for you!

Eris Apparel offers great clothing at competetive pricing for women with bigger busts (sizes D-G cups) - but have a an average body frame.

Being a big girl myself, I know how hard it is to get clothing for the “larger framed woman”. But I reallly can’t imagine having big breasts and a normal frame and trying to find clothes.

Bust out with confidence, style, and class!

Looking for love in all the wrong places?

Have you been looking for that special someone and feel like you've tried everything? Well, you more than likely haven't tried AZCentral's hottest dating site!

Since I met Margot online I'm probaby the biggest fan of the whole concept! It's a great way to meet people and the good thing is if they're crazy then you don't have to spend more time with them! You can just ignore their messages or emails!

They offer free online dating services for single women and men in the Arizona area. The website is easy to use and I like the fact that you don't have to pay a dime! Unlike other websites that charge close to $40 a month.

You can save that money for your hot date!

Driver's License.

So I just talked to my buddy Laura and she delivered some good news. My drivers license has been MIA for quite some time. I know, bad girl, driving without a license.

But she said that instead of going to Ithaca's Finest DMV and waiting in line for 2 hours that I can do it all online.

Maybe my day is looking up!

Thank God!

Margot is home, my wallet's been found by the grocery store, and we're going out for dinner tonight.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing to have nothing in the fridge or freezer to eat?

Oh, I hope that new restuarant down the street has beer!!

Get a real job!

I had a friend say that to me the other day! I couldn't believe raising a 2 year old daughter, subbing part-time and then working from home part-time isn't considered to her a "real job!"

I work at home doing blogging and try to pick up other odds and ends jobs such as subbing. WhyDoWork.com gives you information on how you can work from home too!

Not only is it free of charge but it has some great ideas and even some information on jobs that are available.

If you're debating going back to work after having a baby and think that it's not doable on only one income...think again! It's a great way to stay home with your family and work in your free time. ie. When the baby sleeps!
